Jesus Herrera Avila

Jesus H. Avila, 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Mr. Avila is preceded in death by his parents Perfecto and Eloisa Avila. Survived by his wife of 50 years Martha Avila, his son Armando Avila and wife Esperanza, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, his sisters Rafaela an Ignacia Avila and 5 nephews. Jesus H. Avila was born in Durango, Mexico on June 22, 1923. He will be dearly missed by everyone whom he knew and loved. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 5th from 4:00p.m. to 9:00p.m., with a vigil at 7:00p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 11:00a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 2709 Alabama Street. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery at 401 S.
