Jerry D. Pettipiece

Jerry Pettipiece passed in peace surrounded by the comfort of his loved ones on the 18th of February 2022. He was 86 years old. Jerry was born in Diamond Springs, California to parents Vivian and Clarence. He was raised on his family farm in Crawford, Nebraska and was the fourth eldest of seven. After graduating from High School, Jerry enlisted in the United States Army. He worked as Chief of Maintenance, specializing in the Nike Hercules Missile System and retired after 26yrs as Master Sergeant (MSG) E8. Jerry finished out his post-military career working for the civil service at MacGregor Range. Jerry is survived by his wife Edith; their children Jerry and wife Donna, Sandra, Debra and husband David; siblings Duane, Juanita, and Mary-Jane; as well as 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter. Jerry is a beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He will long be remembered for his silent strength, kind heart, and his devotion to family. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 PM, on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast. Committal Service will follow at 1:30 PM, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
