Jerry Udell DeVore

Jerry Udell DeVore, age 74, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful son, brother and Uncle. Jerry lived life to the fullest riding his Harley Davidson and scuba diving across the country. He enjoyed being with family and keeping up with the lives of his siblings and nieces as they went through different chapters of life. He was a true child of the 60’s, still listening to Rock and Roll throughout his life. Jerry was well traveled, loved history and enjoyed sharing stories of his childhood. He brought his family members joy through his love of their pets. He created a special bond with all of the family animals and would bring special treats for them whenever he came to visit. 

 Jerry is preceded in death by his parents: Jerry Thomas DeVore and Jean Lee Moore, his brother: Eric Blaine DeVore and his brother-in-law: Robert W. Johnson. He is survived by his sister: Resa Johnson, his brother: Douglas DeVore (Diane) and nieces: Lexi Eagle (Patton), Cassie Johnson, Christina DeVore, Kaitlan Hand (Greg) and Rebecca DeVore. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory. 

 His stories and presence will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

 A private service will be held at a later date by his family. Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-West, 480 N. Resler Dr.
