Jennifer Annette Jimerson (also known as “STAR”) was born May 17, 1984 in El Paso, Texas. The eldest of three children, daughter to Elisa A. Hall and Grady A. Jimerson II and was reared along with two brothers, Grady A. Jimerson III and Nathan E. Jimerson.
Jennifer graduated from Eastwood High School in 2002, obtained her bachelor’s degree in education from The University of Texas at El Paso, and continued on to Sol Ross University in Alpine where she achieved her master’s degree in 2010. Jennifer began her teaching career in 2011 where she taught for eight years at various cities always trying to reach one. She was a member of Restoration Community Church where she served in the children’s ministry, and the former owner of Elite Cheerleading Gym in Alpine, Texas.
She leaves to cherish her memory: biological father, Bart Hairston (Marion), brothers, Alexay Hairston, Darius Younger, McKye Marrs, and Nathan E. Jimerson and Grady Jimerson (Brityny), 3 nieces and 6 nephews, and a host of cousins, friends, and members of Restoration Community Church.
Jennifer’s motto was for all young girls to know “The 7 B’s ‘Books before boys because boys bring babies!’”
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM with a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Restoration Community Church, 11236 Montana. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana.
