Jeffrey Ellsworth

Jeffrey Ellsworth, age 49, passed away on Monday, July 03, 2023, in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful son, brother and friend and will be greatly missed. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his loving parents; Arnold Edward Ellsworth and Mary Belle Ricker. He is survived by his siblings; Julie Shook, Amy Lindsley and Andrew Ellsworth. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.  

 

Jeff graduated from Coronado High School and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.  He completed his Master of Educational Administration at Sul Ross State University.  For many years he worked for the Yseleta Independent School District as a teacher/coach at Hanks High School, Assistant Principal at Parkland Middle School, and Assistant Principal at Parkland High School.  Jeff had a passion for coaching swimming at El Paso Aqua Posse and the Socorro Ragin' Gators. He was an inspirational coach, educator, and person who tirelessly dedicated his time and energy. He had an incredibly unique gift of connecting with each child and he saw potential in each and every swimmer he coached and every student he interacted with.

 

A memorial service will be held on August 5, 2023, at 10:00 am at University Presbyterian Church at 244 Resler Dr., El Paso, TX 79912 .
