Jay R. Haney

Jay Haney was born on April 30, 1943. He died peacefully on April 26, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents John Haney and Bertie Mae Haney, brothers, Joe Haney, Larry Haney and his sister, Billie Jean Mitchell, great grandchild, Chad. Jay is survived by his wife, Carmen A. Haney, sons, Kevin Haney, Greg Haney, Jason Haney (and wife Angel), Jody Petty (and wife Darla), Daughter Krista Haney Herald, grandchildren, Kyle, Lexy, Jillian, Dallas, Kiersten, Skylar Haney, Denver Herald, Tory and Kaylie Petty, great grandchild, Ke’mara Haney, and many nieces and nephews. He retired from Ysleta Independent School District after 24 years of service teaching in the Vocational Program.
