Javier "Javie" Lopez

Javier “Javie” Lopez, alias Maistro and Viejillo age 65, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 17, 2023 in Sunland Park, New Mexico. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, grandfather. Javier is preceded in death by his mother, Angelina Navarro. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years; Lourdes Lopez, his father; Eusebio Lopez, his children; Ismael Lopez (Maria), Maria Angelina Garibay (Marco), Guadalupe Lupita Lozano (Armando), Nettie Ann Acosta (Christopher), and Crystal Marie Lopez, two brothers, three sisters, as well as his grandchildren; Jaded K. Rodriguez, Stephanie I. Lopez, Briseis G. Garibay, Victoria M. Garibay, Marco A. Garibay Jr., Pablo L. Lopez, and Christopher Javie Acosta Jr. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.

Pallbearers include: Ismael Lopez, Victor Ramirez, Armando Lozano, Christopher Acosta, Marco A. Garibay, Martin Lopez, Genaro Lopez, Javier Lopez Armendariz and Jose Ramirez.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary to commence at 6:30pm at Sunset Funeral Home- West. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30am on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 4006 Hidden Way, El Paso, Texas 79922. A Graveside Service will follow at 10:45am at Memorial Pines Cemetery, 3061 Memorial Pines Rd, Sunland Park, NM 88063.
