Jaunell Hicks

JAUNELL HICKS went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the age of 88. She had been a member of the Assemblies of God since 1951. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. A resident of El Paso since 1967, Jaunell was a talented electrologist who had her own business, Jaunell’s Electrolysis, for many years. She was preceded in death by her first husband Dewey Hicks Sr, her son Dewey Hicks Jr and her second husband, Burt Spivey. She is survived by her children; Gloria Musyoki (Michael), Angela Melton (Kevin), David Hicks, Dennis Hicks (Connie), daughter-in-law Sue Hicks and grandchildren; Geoffrey Hicks, Nicole Ventanilla (Elias}, Courtney Hicks, Ruth Garcia (Jay), James Musyoki, McKenzie Hicks and Bill Hicks. Visitation will be Monday, October 17, 2016 from 3:30PM to 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 11:00AM at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
