Jane Saldivar, 81, owner of Bicycle World and beloved Wife, Mom and Nana, was called upon by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, after her fight with Alzheimer’s. She is preceded in death by her husband Pete Saldivar. She was survived by her daughters Aimee and Lorena Saldivar (Jesse Litchfield), grandson, Nick Saldivar (Wendy Saldivar), great granddaughter, Ruby Saldivar, her two family dogs, Moose and Jack, who never left her side, caregivers Mari and Norma, and the Envision Hospice staff.
Jane was born in Ozona, TX on October 12, 1940, to the late Jose Sifuentes and Anita Castro. She was one of four siblings: her sister, Sulema Portillo, her brothers that preceded her in death, Eliseo “Buddy” Sifuentes and Jose “Jr” Sifuentes.
She graduated from El Paso Technical High School in 1958 and owned Bicycle World for over 41 years with her husband Pete. Jane was a force of nature. She enjoyed gardening and her home garden will continue to be maintained by her daughter Aimee. She was passionate about her family, faith and caring for all others. She had such a generous spirit about her and always tried to help as much as possible by giving back. Her silent kind spirit will never go unrecognized by all who loved her. She will be missed by all who knew her.
