James E. Spain

James Edward Spain passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2007. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather He was born in Cathage, Missouri on November 17, 1928 and in March of 1955 married Jennie J. Spain. After 28 years of service retired as CW4 from the US Army . He is preceded in death by his mother and father Maryetta And Charles Spain and sister Frances Heseltine. He is survived by his brother and sister, Eldred Spain and Carolyn Keller, his children Beverly and Chuck, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was a member of the Lions Club and an avid bowler for many years. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 3, 2007 at 10:30 am at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
