James Joseph O'Quin

June 7, 1990 — July 23, 2010

James Joseph O’Quin 6/7/90- 7/23/2010 On June 7th 1990 an angel was born to the world on loan to us from God. You are the angel that would show the most genuine love and concern. You were a brave man that faced his fears head on and helped his brothers and sisters through their times of fear. An angel that would give you his last dime and the shirt of his back to ensure your happiness and comfort. A friend that would never turn you away in time of need and sacrificed his time, life and sleep to keep you safe, happy and worry free. You will be remembered as the brother that spoiled and loved his sisters, a husband that wanted nothing but the best for his wife, an in–law that loved his extended family and enjoyed making them laugh. You were the father looking forward to loving, raising and guiding his son through the path of life. You will be remembered as the son, grandson and nephew that helped with whatever needed to be done and showed unconditional love. The Soldier that stood for what he believed was right so that others could sleep at night. The Hero that sacrificed his life so that we could complain about out petty problems and have the right to speak our minds. You will always be in our hearts and be a part of our souls forever. Your memory will live on long after we will pass ourselves. We could tell stories about you every day for the rest of our lives and not repeat one. You are in our thoughts every time we look at a soldier, every time we look at a flag and with the birth of your son every time we look at him. We have no doubt that you were welcomed into heavens gates by angels and the other heroes that passed before you. You always wanted to belong to the best of the best the military forces had and now you do. God has taken our precious, compassionate, brave and strong man to serve in his Army and not just protect your family, friends , brothers and sisters but to protect the world from themselves. If there was one message I know you would want for others to hear it would be for people to be kind to one another, take care of each other and to respect each precious life and never to dwell on the past. You have taught us the price of our decisions and freedoms. Your bravery, love, and commitment to your friends, family, and country will be in our hearts. All of us have shed so many tears and stories over the days past. You have made us laugh once again over some of your silly antics and jokes. We have looked at many pictures together and remembered your beautiful comforting smile, eyes and handsome face. God is lucky to have a complete package in you, with all that you bring to the table. He knows that you will serve him well, as we do. We love you and wish you were still here with us as our hearts ache for you. We know that one day we will see you again, keep the gates open and we’ll meet you there. Till then with love, from ALL of your family and friends, Just know “ We’re Good” and we will see you again SON, BROTHER, HUSBAND, FATHER, GRANDSON, FRIEND AND HERO.
