(SFC US Army Ret.) James Morrow, 75, of El Paso , beloved father, grandfather, and best friend passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007. James was born January 29, 1932 in High Springs, Florida. He was the son of Malachi and Victoria Morrow who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Malachi, Jr. James proudly served his country and retired after 31 years of service in the U.S. Army and made Fort Bliss, TX his home in 1979. He had established a long-term relationship with the Lord sometime ago. He is survived by his wife, Julia Mae Morrow; son, Vaughn James Morrow; daughters, Valerie Morrow-Taylor and Toni Collins; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. Sister, Justine Morrow. He has many more nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm, Monday, April 30, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Also, a special thanks to his longtime, best friend Theresa Bell for everything she has done for the family. He will be sadly missed by Mrs. Bell and family.
