James "Jim" Jacoby

James “Jim” Jacoby passed away Friday, September 5th, after a battle with cancer. Born in Portland, Oregon, Jim was a long-time resident of El Paso and served in the army for 22 years. His love of golf led to membership in the Professional Golfers Association and employment at local golf courses. In addition, Jim was highly respected in the golf community as an expert club repairman. He is survived by his wife Charline and brothers Carroll, Robert and sister Frances Yancey of Portland. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, September 15, 2008 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, with full military honors. Internment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
