James Hart – age 85 – longtime resident of El Paso, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019. He was born July 7, 1933 in Whitesburg, Kentucky to O. P. Hart and Millie Breeding Hart. James was married for more than 64 years to Esma, the love of his life, whom he met in the 8th grade. He retired from The US Air Force after 20+ years of service. His military service took him and his family for adventures in Guam, Japan and North Dakota. Other assignments included Korea, Germany and the Azores. James was known for his sunny disposition, love of music and his favorite question “How much wood would a woodchuck chuck?” He is survived by daughter Kathy McConnell, husband Donald; son Robert Hart, wife Fran; granddaughter Jennifer Morgan, husband Todd; grandson Justin McConnell and granddaughter Kelsey Hart; loving family and friends. James was preceded in death by his wife Esma, his parents, brothers: Otto, J. Hugh, and Doc Monroe; and sisters Louise and Jane.
