James M. Franklin

James Melvin Franklin 89 a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away on November 17th, 2022. He was born in Nogales AZ on December 17, 1932. He retired from the United States Army after 30 years of service. 

He is survived by his wife of 36 years Julie P. Franklin, daughters Priscilla Ann Franklin-Payan and Elizabeth Marie Franklin, grandchildren who were his world, Deryck and Noah Payan and Maddox James Espinoza. Followed by his other children Monica Franklin Payan, Corina Franklin-Shakleford, Jessica Franklin- Svan, John D Franklin and James A Franklin, included are 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 

He is also survived by his siblings Kay Franklin Llanes, Patricia Miranda, and William Franklin with extended Family.

Visitation will be held from 4pm-8pm with a rosary service at 6pm, Wednesday, November 30^th, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home East 750 N. Carolina. Graveside service will be held at Ft Bliss National cemetery on Thursday, December 1st at 10:30 A.M where he will be laid to rest.
