James "Jamie" Donald Fields

James Donald “Jamie” Fields, 77,  was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Jamie attended Bel Air High School and following graduation enlisted in the United States Army. Jaime served honorably for 11 years in the Air Defense Artillery. Upon leaving the Army he began working for R.E. Roach Welding and Utility Contractors. Jamie continued to work for R. E Roach for nearly 50 years, becoming a shared owner and remaining active in the company until his passing.

Jamie is survived by his wife of 43 years (Linda), two children (Curtis and Jason), 6 grandchildren, two brothers (Charlie and Harry), and two sisters (Rita and Diana).

 Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday, October 24, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Service will take place at 9:30 AM, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Committal Service will follow at 11:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
