James "Jim" Curtis

James “Jim” Curtis, 86, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2017 with his wife by his side. Jim was beloved by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Gary. He is survived by his wife Isela; his children, Sandy (Rick), Michael, Diane (Roger), Fernie (Vero), and Kim (Rick); grandchildren, Krystal (Robert), Steve, Beth, Tailor and Colton; sister-in-law Lily and brother-in-law Fred (Lina). Jim served our country for 30 faithful years in the U.S. Army and 15 years as a Civil Servant. We miss you and will remember all our beautiful memories we shared. Until we meet again… We know you are free of pain and have “gone fishing” with our Heavenly Father. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Scripture Service beginning at 7:00pm on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will begin at 2:00pm on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
