Born in Bristol CT. He graduated from Boston University before serving his country. He was stationed at Fort Bliss, making El Paso, Texas his home. In the late 1950's James was a campaign manager for Raymond Telles. James was a wonderful husband to Julie K. Schinagel, good father, a good grandfather and a good great & great-great grandfather. James enjoyed golf, playing poker and quality time with the family. A Visitation will be held 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr, El Paso, Texas 79907. A Mass will begin at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar Rd, El Paso, Texas 79925. A Graveside will follow at 2:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, Texas 79906. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
