Jamee Marie Davis, 47, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2008. Jamee was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico on February 27, 1961 and moved to El Paso in August of 1972. She is survived by her father, James M. (Jim) Davis, brother Arnold L. Davis, sister in law Sally Davis, three nieces, Ashleigh, Brianna and Caylee Davis and a great number of friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her mother, Avanell M. Davis in 1998. She graduated in 1979 from Eastwood High School and was a member of Scotsdale Baptist Church for many years. She worked with Bowl El Paso in several capacities: youth bowling programs and evening educational programs with children. In the last 15 years, she was an associate with Jim Davis Appraisal Service. Jamee was a very compassionate and caring person and was well-loved and respected by her family, friends, and work associates. She took time to know and become a strong role model for the youth with which she worked. Her nieces knew her as MeeMee and looked upon her as a very special and unique individual. For those that were privileged to know her, they saw in her someone in whom they could confide and rely upon. She will be greatly missed and prayers are given in thanks to God for his care for her in her last few months of failing health. Visitation will be from 4-9pm on Friday, August 29, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Memorial Service will be held at Scotsdale Baptist Church on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 10:30 am. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
