Jacqueline E. McGill was born on January 10, 1936 in Stow Creek, Cumberland Co, NJ, to Joseph H. and Rebecca A. Loatman and passed away on February 24, 2010. She was the 7th of twelve children, 5 sisters, Lillie, Hazel, Alice, Eva, Edith, and 6 brothers, Joseph, Hartley, Franklin, Jerry, Ronald, and Barry. Jacqueline attended Hopewell Elementary and Bridgeton High School where she graduated top 10% of her class. Jacqueline joined the US Army in 1954, and graduated from the US Army school of finance. Jacqueline married Tommy McGill Sr. and from this union had two children. After returning to New Jersey she relocated to Berkeley, CA where she retired. She was the office manager for the Sociology/ Criminal Justice Dept. at Cal StateUniversity Hayward. Her second retirement was as the group ticket supervisor at the American League Champion Oakland Athletics. As a woman who loved god, she was a member of Antioc h Missionary Baptist Church, Oakland, CA, Dr. John George, Pastor. She is survived by her son Tommy, daughter, Lisa, grandchildren, Christopher, Nathan, Maya, Matthew, Mikkala, Wade, Lynndra, great grandchilren, Christopher Jordanand Daivione, many friends, adopted children, and grands. Visitation from 4:00 to 9:00 pm, Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Prayer Service will be at 6:30 pm, Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Service at 10:00 am, Monday, March 1, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
