Jacob Anthony Rubio

Jacob Anthony Rubio , 10, was called upon by the heavens March 20, 2010. Although he was given to us for only a short time he touched the lives of many. He was an avid sports fan and participated in youth basketball along with baseball where he wore the number 19 to represent both his parents former jersey numbers. He was an adventurous boy always full of energy that admired the outdoors and all it's animals. Jacob was known best for his humorous nature as the class clown to his teachers and classmates. Such a caring and kind boy taken from so many whom loved him. He is preceeded into eternal life with his beloved grandmother, Fabiola Rubio. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Monica Almanza-Rubio and Michael Rubio; grandfather, Hector Rubio; grandparents, Fidel and Alice Almanza; aunts, Trish and Marie Medina; cousins, Desiree Cota, Alliese, Zylar, Joseph, Adain, Alex, Eddie, and Julian Medina, Matthew and Rylan Rubio, JJ and Alexis Mendoza. Blessed is the child that now walks with the lord. Leave us now my precious angel boy. You will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known you and will always live in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 pm, Friday, March 26, 2010 Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held 9:00 am, Saturday, March 27, 2010 at St. Patricks Cathedral. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers are Michael and Edward Medina, Chris and Robert Rubio, Daniel De La Cruz, Sammy and Roman Hernandez Honorary Pallbearers are Joseph Medina, Adain Medina, Matthew Rubio, and Gabriel Hernandez.
