Israel Hernandez, 55, passed away June 3, 2008 in El Paso, Texas. He was born March 18, 1953 to Leonardo and Maria de Jesus Hernandez. Israel is survived by his wife of 38 years Maria Hernandez. He also survived by his daughters and husbands, Lourdes Soto (Thomas), Isela Cockerham, Nora Rangel, Isabel Hernandez (Robert), Becky (Gerardo), Delilah Hernandez; grandchildren, Joseph A., Marcos A., Christopher M., Frederick S., Alyssa E., Alexander N., Aurelio (Jr.), Christian and Michael; brothers and sisters, Carmen, Robert and Jose, Maria Luisa, Frances, Carlos, Rosa, Belia, Cruz and George. Visitation will be held from 4-9 pm, Friday, June 6, 2008 at Sunset Funeral West, Chapel of Remembrance with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 am, Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Memorial Pines Cemetery.
