Isabel Arrigucci

Isabel Arrigucci, a lifelong resident of El Paso county, was called by her heavenly Father on June 9, 2017. She passed away peacefully at her home accompanied by her family. Isabel was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Alfredo Arrigucci, and her sister, Elena Guerra. Isabel is survived by her children, Edna Lopez (Richard), Joel Arrigucci, Diane Arrigucci (Zeke), and Virginia Robinson (Mike). She had eight grandchildren: Elizabeth and Richard; Annette, Virginia, and Andrea; and Thomas, Celine, and Michael. Isabel had three great grandchildren: Christopher James, Alexander, and Jacob. Isabel grew up in San Elizario, Texas and graduated from Ysleta High school in 1949. She instilled love, caring, and spiritual devotion to all of her family and friends. Isabel had a passion for travel. She lived to laugh and was beloved by many for her kind and compassionate nature. Isabel taught catechism and first holy communion, sang in the church choir and was involved in the Altar Society and Women's AGLOW. She was active in the West Side Welcome Club, El Paso County Garden Club, Spanish Club and the San Elizario Genealogy Historical Society. Isabel was a woman of faith and strength and will be missed dearly by those whose lives she touched. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 12:30PM at St. Luke Catholic Church, 930 E. Redd Rd. Interment will follow at Memorial Pines Cemetery in Sunland Park, NM.
