Irene A. Sandoval

Irene A. Sandoval, 93, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on January 13, 2021 in a local hospital. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 26, 1927. Later in life with her husband, Jesus L. Sr., she settled in El Paso, Texas. Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus L. Sandoval Sr. and ten siblings. She is survived by her sister, Maria R. Muñoz (Roberto), her six children: Jesus L. Sandoval Jr. (Mary), Luis A. Sandoval (Rosemary), Ricardo Sandoval (Susie), Javier Sandoval (Rose), Jaime Sandoval (Patricia), Gilbert Sandoval (Erica), 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Irene devoted her life to her spouse, children and grandchildren. She looked forward to family gatherings and celebrations. Lovingly, she will be remembered for the hours spent playing her favorite board game “seis” with her children, daughter-in-laws and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Gathering of Remembrance will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a Vigil/Rosary at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina.
