Irene S. Ochoa

Irene Ochoa, 95, entered into eternal rest on January 26, 2023 in El Paso, Texas. Irene is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eduvijes Ochoa, and children Raul Ochoa, Silvia Campos, Maggie Ochoa and Elva Avalos. Survived by her children, Irene Espindola, Patricia Cereceres (Freddy), and Robert Ochoa (Mariana CC). Her siblings, Faustina, Candelaria, Catalina, Dolores. Also leaving behind 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren to honor and cherish... however she was everyone’s Granny. Her presence filled the room with love and laughter. Her absence leaves behind a legacy of beautiful, magnificent memories. Thank you to all who helped care for Irene, especially Ceci, who was the provider by her side for 10+ years. We are so grateful for the staff at Providence Hospital for their patience and care.

Viewing will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Monday, January 30, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held the following day at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza.
