Ida Franco

Mrs. Ida Franco passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on July 27, 2023. Ida was born on January 16, 1944 in San Elizario Tx. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Ida was a devout Catholic and parishioner of San Lorenzo Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society and the choir. She will be remembered for her years of service working for the Clint Senior Citizen Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Bobby Franco, her parents Lorenzo and Lydia Sanchez, her brothers Sonny and Antonio Sanchez, and her sisters Becky Ortiz and Ruth Ontiveros. Left to cherish her memory are her sister Lucy Vasquez (Junior), her children Rose Franco, Bobby Franco, Jr. (Sandy) and Mario Franco (Cindy), her grandchildren, Crystal Franco, Katelyn Hurt, Ricardo Franco, Alyssa Franco, Angela Franco, and Samantha Franco, and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ricardo Franco, Mario Franco, Bobby Franco, Jr., Richard Franco, Junior Vasquez, and Herman Apodaca.Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, with recitation of the rosary at 7:00 pm at San Lorenzo Catholic Church, 611 Avenida de San Lorenzo, Clint, Texas 79836 on Thursday, August 3, 2023. Funeral mass will be held at San Lorenzo Catholic Church on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 10:30 am. Graveside service to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd.
