Humberto (BETO) Eduardo Soto 06/14/1945 -10/31/2011 Graduate of Lydia Patterson 1965, Vietnam Veteran (ARMY), member of several motorcycle clubs, LULAC council member #4888, Democratic State Delegate, public relations Lakeside Association, Historian of Native Americans and Pancho Villa, Retired from the Southern Pacific/ Union Pacific railroad after 36 years of service, volunteer of numerous political campaigns. Beto is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Garza Soto, of 46 years and his daughters, Mary Ruth Soto Jr and Yvette T. Soto. Beto will be dearly missed by his family and all of his friends. Visitation will be held from 5-9 with a Rosary/Vigil to begin at 7pm, Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Scripture Services will begin at 10am, Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
