Horace Edward Posey

CSM Horace E. Posey passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007. His funeral was held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. While in the service he worked with Military Intelligence Units, he served overseas with custom units in Germany, far east network in Japan, and head of the television station in Alaska. After retiring he worked at Fort Bliss in the Civil Service, the Sheriff’s Department, the Sheriff’s Posse, Texas State Guard, Border Patrol and was in charge of security at WBAMC. He also worked with DEA and EPIC and the Police Chief at Anthony Texas. He loved helping others and the Rodeo. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; sons, Jerome and Martin; daughter, Katherine McKinney; and 4 grandchildren. Services were entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
