Octaviana C. Hernandez was born on March 22, 1939 predeceased by husband Cecilio Hernandez and daughter Maria D. “Paty” Lopez. Octaviana is survived by her 6 children Cecilio Hernandez, Miguel Hernandez, Magdalena Rodriguez, Marcos Hernandez, Blanca Cabrera, and Margarita Salas, 28 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, 5 brothers, 1 sister and many nieces and nephews. Maria D. “Paty” Lopez was born on March 18, 1968 predeceased by her parents Cecilio and Octavia C. Hernandez. Maria is survived by her husband Ricardo Lopez, her 4 children Patricia Lopez, Angelica Lopez, Neida Cecilia Lopez and Ricardo Lopez Jr., grandchildren Diego A. Mireles and many nieces and nephews. Maria “Paty” was a loving wife and a wonderful mother and grandmother. “Paty” was the strong pillar for our family. She always lit the room with her smile. Our beloved Octaviana and Maria “Paty” were devoted members of La Hermosa Church where they served the Lord faithfully throughout their lives. Octaviana served as an elder for La Hermosa Church and Maria “Paty” was a board member for L a Hermosa Church for many years. Nuestra madre fue un angel mandado por Dios para brindarnos su amor, darnos fuerza, fey y esperanza. Fue nuestra amiga, y fiel consejera. Siempre juntas y con una sonrisa partieron juntas con el Señor. Siempre en nuestros corazónes, las extrañaremos, pero esperamos en el Señor reunirnos algun dia. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm-12:00 am, Monday, July 6, 2009 at Iglesia De Dios, 7546 Doniphan with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. A second viewing will be held from 8 am to 11 am, Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Iglesia De Dios. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Iglesia De Dios.
