Heriberto C. Armendariz

Heriberto “Eddie” C. Armendariz, 78, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022.

Eddie was born on February 15, 1944.  He grew up in Stahmanns Farms in San Miguel, New Mexico and graduated from Gadsden High School in 1963.  Soon after, he met the love of his life Dora and married her in 1967.

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Armendariz & Guadalupe Armendariz and his sister Irene Tellez.  He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Dora, his son Armando Saldivar (Marisela), his daughter Rocio Hernandez (Ernie), Ruth Armendariz, and Esther Armendariz.  Also left to cherish his memory are his pride and joy, his grandchildren Lizette Francis (Cody), Armando Saldivar (Jessica), Janette Mendoza (Kiosy), Ernie Hernandez Jr (Cassandra), Cassandra Hernandez, and Eric Hernandez.  His eight great-grandchildren, Isabella, Caleb, Eli, Liam, Destiny, Armando, Axel, Andie and his great great grandchild Daliza.  Eddie is also survived by his sister Elisa Silva, brother Sergio Armendariz and sisters Violeta, Olga, Nelly, Lourdes, and Leticia.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM, Friday, October 7, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina. Interment will be at 11:30 AM, Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Evergreen Cemetery East, 12400 Montana.
