Helen Elizabeth Tullis

Helen Tullis, 91, passed away November 28 after a lingering illness. She was born Feb. 9, 1920 at Jefferson Barracks, MO. She wed John Tullis in 1942 and they were married 61 years before his death in 2003. Helen was a devoted Army wife and after John's retirement she was active in civic affairs including League of Women's Voters and garden clubs. She was an election judge for 20 years and sat on several boards and committees. She was named Herald Post Woman of the Year in 1970. No services are planned. She will be interred at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with her husband. Deep Appreciation is extended to the entire staff at Serenity House for their care and attention during Helen's stay.
