Hector Alfonso Rios

Hector Alfonso Rios Sr.,85 of El Paso, TX. passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2nd at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico. Hector and his family established the Lunch Box Mexican Restaurant in 1985. He was a passionate man who enjoyed being around his family. He enjoyed watching soccer and coached in the Job Corp League in the 70's. He enjoyed attending his grand kids baseball and soccer games and was their biggest fan. He was a member of Santa Lucia Catholic Church for over 45 years and helped in the Church activities. . Hector is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha; sons: Hector Jr. (Sylvia), Luis Ramon (Claudia), Martin (Laura); daughters, Maria Olivas (Lorenzo), Martha Walsh (George), Grandsons: Lorenzo II, Hector III, Marcos, Erik, Martin, Jr., Luis Ramon, Jr., Josue, Luis Eduardo; Granddaughters: Erica Olivas (Isaac), Vanessa, Amanda, Lisa and Rebecca; Great Grandchildren: Brianna, Adam, Amias and Josiah. Hector is preceded in death by mother, Maria Rios; sisters, Avelina Lara, Marina Trevino, Ofelia Zubia; brothers, Manuel Delgado, Salvador Delgado and Guillermo Delgado. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m.- 9:00p.m., Wednesday August 5, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home- East, with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Ressurection will be said at 10:00 a.m on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Santa Lucia Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Lorenzo Olivas, II, Hector A. Rios, III, Marco Olivas, Erik Walsh, Martin Rios, Jr. and Luis Rios, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Josue Rios, Luis Eduardo Vasquez and Adam Favela.
