Hector Manuel Hernandez

Hector Manuel Hernandez, 78, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, went to be with our Lord on April 3, 2007, after battling with Alzheimer's. Born on Jan. 16, 1929, and was a lifelong resident of EI Paso. He graduated from Bowie High School and served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Kearsarge. He received a Bachelor Of Business Administration from Texas Western College. He worked as an accountant for the city of EI Paso. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Carlota Hernandez. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rogelia Hernandez and daughters, Yolanda (Richard) Orona, Brenda Hernandez, Beverly Sinclair, Elizabeth Sinclair. Grandchildren, Nicole Orona, Victoria Uribe, Sergio Uribe, and Christian Uribe. Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 9 pm, Monday, April 9, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with a vigil at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
