Hector P. Carpio

Lt. Hector Pascual Carpio March 18, 1936 - March 5, 2022 El Paso, Texas Our beloved Hector P. Carpio passed away on March 5, 2022at the age of 85 with his wife of 45 years by his side. He was a 30 year veteran of the El Paso Fire Department, beginning his career at Station 4 and ending at Station 18. He always considered himself the luckiest man to serve with his fellow brothers all those years and always missed it greatly. He was an avid runner and like keeping fit. He loved helping his community, his friends, and his family. He was a loving husband and a wonderful father. He is survived by his wife Bertha S. Carpio, his four daughters, one son, nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas at 9521 North Loop Dr. El Paso, Tx 79907 between the hours of 12-4 on Saturday March 19th. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the following: El Paso Fire Department Association at elpasofirefighters.unionactive.com, and The Alzheimer's Dementia Association at alz.org, in his honor.
