Heather Renee Daugherty passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 8.
Heather was a life-long El Pasoan. She was sponsored by NCJW as a Sun Princess in 1992. She was active in Junior League and PTAs at Western Hills, Lundy, and Hornedo schools. Heather was a member and staunch supporter of the booster clubs for Coronado’s marching band and both Franklin and El Paso Highs’ volleyball team. She was also active with the 915 volleyball club. Heather was an avid baker and enjoyed scrapbooking and crocheting.
Heather loved working with and being with people. She is currently employed with So El Paso. Her favorite job was working with her dad at Valley Foods. She also worked as a beauty advisor for Estee Lauder and worked at Michael and Sons Jewelers.
Heather was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Golden Daugherty. She is survived by her children Bryce and Paige Chapman, as well as her father, Manon C. Daugherty and brother Adam Daugherty and countless friends. She was a shining light in the world. She loved and understood those around her and will be greatly missed.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, May 10, at noon at B’nai Zion Cemetery, 3915 Gateway West. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Congregation B’nai Zion, Temple Mount Sinai, or a favorite charity.
