Hazel K.S Willis went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2019.
She was born in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. A graduate of Leilehua High School, she went on to work as an administrative clerk for the U.S military in Washington D.C., Honolulu, Hawaii and the U.S. Post office in El Paso.
She excelled in a variety of needle arts and crafts, but she especially enjoyed providing three home cooked meals daily for her family.
She and her husband regarded Sunday as sacred, letting nothing replace it as a day for rest and worship for the family. In most recent years she provided snack and Bible stories in English to Korean preschoolers. The well-worn Bible that she leaves behind bears testimony that her daily Bible reading and devotional study took precedence over the days activities.
Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Clifton A. Willis, Sr. and son Donald Kalani Willis. She is survived by her sons Clifton A. Willis, Jr., Gary Willis and wife Michelle, and daughters Shirley G. (Willis) Bowles and husband Richard and Carol M. Willis. Grandchildren: Talia, Ricky, Gary Willis Jr., Sarah, and Joseph Richard. Great Grandchildren: Sayuri, Kaleb, and Isabelle.
Also survived by sister Helen Crouch of Ewa Beach, HI and brother Richard Kim and wife Janet of Wahiawa, HI and beloved nieces and nephews.

28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
Proverbs 31:28-30
