Haruko Iha Smith

Haruko “April” Smith was born in Okinawa on July 1, 1937. She entered Heaven on March 20, 2013. Haruko was a loving mother and grandmother, who found the greatest joy in family and friends. Haruko is survived by daughter, Janice Brown, son, James Andersen and grandson, Camren Andersen. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 25, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held the following day, Tuesday, March 26, at 12:30 pm. Both events will be at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass, El Paso, Texas 79904. Interment at Fort Bliss Cemetery.
