Harry Lippert, 81, long time resident of El Paso, TX passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2017. Harry was born in Lebanon, PA. He served his country proudly for 22 years in the United States Army as 1st Sgt. and received the Army Commendation Medal “V” device and Bronze Star Medal with “V” device for heroism in Vietnam. After retiring from the Army, he worked for the school district and the National Cemetery.
He was an active member of Hope City Community Church. He enjoyed traveling in his RV, bowling and volunteering.
Harry is survived by his wife Ann of 61 years, son David Lippert, daughters Barbara (Doug) Myslinski and Susan Lippert. Grandchildren, Carlos, Jacob, Michael, Jennifer and sister Ruth Ann Heisey. Preceded in death by daughter, Kathy; parents, Mae Grove and Edward Lippert and brothers, Charlie, Eddie, and Johnny.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 23rd, 7:00 PM at Hope City Community Church, 6115 Woodrow Bean, El Paso, TX and Graveside Committal Service will be Friday, March 24th at 11:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope City Community Church.
