Harry Junior Cordell

Harry Junior Cordell, son of Bertha Mae Parks and James Harrison Cordell, passed from this earthly life at the age of 88. Harry was predeceased by his eight siblings: Eleanor Rose, Mildred Irene, James H., Mary Lee, William Garfield, Beverly Ann, Sally Lou, and Franklin Delano. After serving 7 years in the Airforce and a short stint living in Virginia, Harry moved to El Paso, Texas then retired from William Beaumont Army Medical Center. Harry leaves behind 10 Nieces, and 3 Nephews, many great nieces and nephews, as well as friends. He was very close to his friend and caregiver, Amado Celaya, also known as Judge. Harry’s family greatly appreciates Amado for his selfless friendship and care of Harry.

Visitation will be at 9:00am on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive.  Committal Service to follow at 10:30am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Honors.  Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.  Please visit his online memorial at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net.
