Hans Uwe Aeckerle

Hans Uwe Aeckerle passed away in his home after a lengthy illness. His parents were Nial and Margarete Southard. He is survived by his sister, Sylvia Fifield; his nephew, Phillip Fifield; and his grandnieces, Kaitlin and Kristin Fifield, all of El Paso. Hans served in the US Army, during that time he received the Purple Heart for injuries received in Vietnam. He was retired from the US Postal Service with a total of 35 years government service. He was also a member of VFW Post 8550 serving as their quartermaster for many years. He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle. Services are private.
