Hale W. Lewis

Hale W. Lewis, 92 passed away on Friday, February 8, 2008. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Hale was a US Army veteran and was a Retired 1st Lieutenant. Hale was a World War II Victory Medal recipient. He also served tours throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East where he received 3 Battle Stars, the Bronze Star, the American Company Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was preceded in death by his son, Rudy Bernal. Survived by wife Enriqueta Lewis; sons, Jessie Lewis (Angela) and Gilbert Bernal (Sharon). Daughter, Luz Elena Gallegos (Rudy). 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. He will be missed by those who knew him. Visitation from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Sunday, February 10, 2008 Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Service at 12:00 noon, Monday, February 11, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast.
