Guadalupe V. Serna November 21, 1925 - July 17, 2021 Guadalupe V. Serna, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 95. Preceded in death by her loving husband Pedro I. Serna and grandson George A. Serna. Survived by sons George (Arcy), Patricio (Josie), Gilbert (Theo) and daughters Victoria Estrada (Ruben), Estela Ambrose (Jim), Carmen Rodriguez (Luis), and Teresa Ponce (Rafael). Mom enjoyed life to the fullest with Dad, her 7 children, 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Mom always put the wellbeing of others first as she cared so deeply for so many people in her life. She has left behind a legacy that her family will always strive to follow, an example of true love, dignity and respect for everyone. HER SMILE WAS INFECTIOUS, HER LOVE WAS UNCONDITIONAL, AND HER BLESSINGS WERE HEARTFELT. We will miss her dearly, as she touched many lives throughout her long life. "Madre querida. Nunca se nos olvidara la gran madre que fue para todos nosotros. Que nuestro Dios la tenga en paz." Visitation will be on Saturday July 24th at Sunset Funeral Home - Americas from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Rosary will be at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Monday, July 26th at 10:30 a.m. followed by graveside services at Mount Carmel Cemetery at 12 noon. Pallbearers: Patricio Serna, Ruben Estrada, Michael Tellez, Marco Tellez, Nick Serna, Sebastian Machado, and Ethan Estrada.
