Guadalupe Fernandez Gonzalez

Guadalupe Fernandez Gonzalez passed away peacefully on December 24th, 2020 at age 93. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico she immigrated to the US at age 27 and lived the rest of her life in her beloved El Paso, Texas. A dedicated mother and housewife her entire life, she spent much of her time gardening, cooking her favorite Mexican recipes for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoying baseball and soccer on TV. Being the last in her family to pass away, she was preceded in death by her parents Luis Fernandez and Sara Fernandez Barron and all seven of her siblings. She is survived by all her children: Maria Teresa Alarcon, Oscar Gonzalez, Javier Gonzalez, Laura Esther Esparza, Jose Luis Gonzalez, Rebecca Moreno, Jaime Gonzalez, Raquel Gonzalez, and many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services only for the immediate family but viewable on Facebook. Services provided by Sunset Funeral Homes – Americas, January 4, 2021. Online visitation 11:00am-2:00pm. Rosary – 12:30pm. Prayer Service – 1:00pm. Graveside services at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Live Streaming services will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2021 with a rosary at 12:30 p.m., prayer service at 1:00 p.m. and a graveside services at Mt.
