Gregoria Rivera Nunez

Gregoria "Goya" Nunez, 62, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2020. She was born in El Paso, Texas and has been a long time resident of this city. She is preceded in death by her loving parents Jose Rivera and Angelita Alvidrez. Gregoria is survived by her loving husband Asuncion "Joe" Nunez; sons, Ernesto Nunez (Maricruz), Joe Nunez Jr. (Ashley); daughter, Angie Contreras (Luis); brothers, Joe Rivera Jr., Robert and Beto Rivera; sisters, Hortencia Cordero, Yolanda Llamas, Armida Pasillas, Sylvia Lopez; 10 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Drive. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Inurnment will be private. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
