Grady Henry Mallonee

April 22, 1925 — July 2, 2011

Grady Mallonee departed from this life at his home on July 2, 2011. Grady served his country during World War II as a member of the United States Air Force. While in the service he received the WWII Victory Medal, the American Theater Ribbon, the APT Service Medal and the Air Medal. He was discharged from the military as a Sergeant in March of 1946, and from there he moved to Las Cruces, NM where he worked at White Sands Missle Range until he retired. He moved to El Paso in the late 1960’s. Grady was an avid golfer and played in many tournaments. He was always ready with a joke on any subject at any time, and even gave some performances as a stand up comedian. Grady was a Veteran of Foreign Wars, a lifelong Elks Club member, and the American Legion. Grady leaves behind his beloved daughter, Linda; a dear life long friend, Toni and Toni’s Children; and his wide circle of friends. A Committal Service will begin at 9:00am on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
