Grace Peña

Grace Peña, age 54, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 13, 2020, in Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Jose Guadalupe Peña. Graciela is survived by her beloved husband, Miguel Pedroza, her beloved children: Nicholas Matthew Pedroza, and Zoraya Isabel Pedroza, mother: Maria Leonor Peña, brothers: Armando Peña and his wife Eva, Jorge Luis Peña and his wife Vivianna, Ramiro Peña, and sisters: Maria Guadalupe Peña, Hilda Peña and her husband Bernie Rodriguez, Zoraida Peña Macinga and her husband Kenneth Macinga, Silvia Peña and her husband Jesus Trejo, and Margarita Peña. She is also survived by many extended family and friends and will be greatly missed. Grace was born on October 17, 1965. A graduate from Bowie High School, Grace earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at El Paso in 1989. After moving to California, Grace began her career at Lockheed Missiles and Space before moving to Austin and working for Dover Fueling Solutions. Throughout her career she was known for her technical expertise as well as her willingness to help others. At home, her love of reading was eclipsed only by her love of family. Grace was a kind and thoughtful soul who always had a positive impact on everyone that she met. Holy Rosary will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 10:30AM, at Sunset Funeral Home-West.
