Gloria Anne Johnson

Gloria Anne Johnson, age 78, passed away May 19, 2012. Mrs. Johnson was the captain of the first Gold Digger sqaud at what is now U.T.E.P. Once receiving her degree she taught third grade for 18 years in the public school system. After retiring Mrs. Johnson assisted her husband coaching the swim team at the Radford School. Gloria is survived by her husband of 26 years, Russell Johnson; her daughters Lani, Desi and Sauncie; and her step-daughters Jackie and Merry. Visitation will be held from 1 pm to 2 pm, Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm.
