Gloria Dominguez

Gloria Dominguez, 76, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024.

Gloria was born in El Paso, TX on December 23,1947. She graduated from Loretto Academy and the University of Texas at El Paso with a Liberal Arts degree.

Gloria worked for the El Paso Independent School District for 33 years. In 1994 Gloria was nominated to Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers by her students. Gloria’s students honored her in this way because of the difference she made in their lives.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Moises and Lydia Dominguez. She leaves behind her sister Irma Menchaca (Ellis) and Yvonne Martinez (Abelino). Nephews Ellis Menchaca, III (Mindy Sue). George Allan Menchaca (Alicia) and Mark Anthony Menchaca. Great nephews and nieces Benjamin, Roscoe, Piper and Quinndelyn.

Cremation was under the direction of Sunset Funeral Homes. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
