Gilford Arlon Adams

Gilford Arlon Adams, 89, passed away on Saturday, May 12,2018. Gilford was born in Seguin, Texas. After high school, he went on to get his bachelor degree. He served in the United States Army. He continued his education and graduated with a Master degree in Physics. He met the love of his life and married Doris. Gilford retired from White Sands Missile Range after 28 years of service. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He and his wife enjoyed square dancing and long walks in their neighborhood. Gilford was preceded in death by his parents Helmuth, Regina and brother Harold. He is survived by his Son Stephen Adams. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM on Wednesday May 30, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass, EI Paso, TX. Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 05, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church, 600 S Center St, Marion, TX with a Committal Service to follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery with Military Honors.
