Gilberto B. Marroquin, Sgt. 1st Class U.S. Army retired, veteran, went to be with the LORD September 2, 2009 surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren. Survived by his wife Alicia; sons, Joe, Gilbert Jr., and Daniel; daughter, Graciela Perez; brothers, Jose and Santiago Marroquin; sisters, Juanita Hernandez, Gabriella Arellano, and Maria Cuellar; grandchildren, Stephanie, and Samantha Perez, and Edward Marroquin. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, Monday, September 7, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Scripture Service at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Interment will follow with full Military Honors at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
